
With honesty and integrity, John strives to provide his clients with the tools and advice needed to help them effectively address their personal and financial goals. Growing up in the business alongside his father, he appreciates the joy his father took in helping clients and also seeing how those relationships continue today. John enjoys working with his family and looks forward to coming to work every day to help our clients and their families.
John joined Foran Financial Group in 2009 as a wealth manager assistant, and the following year he became a wealth advisor. He obtained his life and health insurance licenses, as well as his Series 7, 9, 10, and 66 registrations, which are held through LPL Financial. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS®), and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). In addition, John has specialized to further help families with special needs children by obtaining his Chartered Special Needs Consultant, which allows him to professionally address and advise on how best to plan for that child’s future and beyond.
Graduating cum laude in 2008 from Washington & Jefferson College, John earned a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in economics and lettered all four years in lacrosse. He continued his academic career at Villanova University, where he earned his master’s degree in history. John was inducted into the History Honor Society, Phi Alpha Theta, at both W&J and Villanova. John is on the board of Dombal-Vogel Foundation which provides assistance to children who are in need.
John and his college sweetheart, Staci, were married in 2012. Originally from Clinton Township, New Jersey, they live in Peapack and Gladstone with their son, Luke, born December 2014, and baby girl Scarlet, born September 2018. During his free time, John enjoys reading, traveling, surfing, snowboarding, and hiking and is looking forward to teaching his children how to surf and snowboard, and coaching them in lacrosse.
